As a travel enthusiast from a diverse background, Roadside Cottage in Sandwick, Shetland Islands was a delightful find for me. the cozy cottage, just a 10-minute drive from Lerwick, offered stunning views of the sea and free private parking right onsite. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Margaret, a friendly and welcoming host who had thoughtfully provided us with delicious homemade shortbread. The location of the cottage was perfect, with the ferry to the Isle of Mousa conveniently leaving from just outside the property. the free WiFi throughout the property allowed us to stay connected during our visit. Overall, Roadside Cottage provided a wonderful home away from home in a beautiful setting. And as someone who appreciates both comfort and convenience in my travels, I highly recommend this charming accommodation for anyone visiting the Shetland Islands.
